Kimberly Ann "Kim" Henry is an American teacher who is the wife of the 26th Governor of Oklahoma, Brad Henry. She was the First Lady of Oklahoma from January 13, 2003, to January 10, 2011.
Kim Henry began her career as a teacher by joining the staff of her alma mater, Shawnee High School in Shawnee, Oklahoma, in 1993. While there, she taught Oklahoma History, Economics, Government and American History. When her husband Brad Henry was elected Governor of Oklahoma in 2003, Henry became the First Lady of Oklahoma.
First Lady Henry is currently serving on board of directors for the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum. She is previously served on the board of directors for Science Museum Oklahoma, Leadership Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence. Also, Henry is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Sarkeys Foundation, a private, charitable foundation dedicated to providing support through gifts and grants to Oklahoma's non-profit organizations.
Henry is married to her husband Brad Henry. Together, they have three daughters. Henry was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2009.
